Cloud sync is not a recovery plan. Here is what is.
01Is this different from OneDrive or Google Drive?
Yes. Cloud sync keeps files handy. It is not a full recovery plan, it does not prove restores, and it will not save you if ransomware encrypts the synced copy too.
02Can we use BDR without full Managed IT?
Yes. It is core to Managed IT, and it also works for co-managed teams or as a standalone service.
03How do you know backups will work?
We monitor backup jobs and run restore tests on a schedule. You see status and reporting in EMPIST 360, not a black box.
