Password-protect your files: A easy way to lock sensitive files on your computer is to create an encrypted archive. You likely have a copy of 7-ZipWinRAR, or The Unarchiver (Mac) or some equivalent on your computer. All you must do is create a new archive, select to encrypt its contents, and password-protect the file.
