The project involved the transition of Kleopas Alliott from a traditional IT infrastructure to a modern, serverless environment, leveraging Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and cloud-based solutions. Through this transformation, single points of failure were eliminated, while security, availability, and operational efficiency were significantly enhanced.
By adopting Azure AD Join, the company fully moved away from local servers and on-premise domain controllers, reducing administrative overhead and operational costs. At the same time, mechanisms such as policy-based access control, conditional access, and identity management were integrated, providing a robust security and access control framework aligned with zero-trust principles.
