Recently the global accounting and consulting firm Deloitte released its rankings for the 2020 Technology Fast 500. The Chicago-area was listed among North America’s fast-growing regions for technology innovation. The results were based on the growth rate and revenue businesses presented between the years 2016 – 2019. What Can You Expect to See from Chicago in the Years to Come

The good news is that even during uncertain times, Chicago is thriving as a hub for technology. If we are growing during a crisis, there is no telling what we can accomplish when the economy is in full swing again. Beyond your standard technology solutions, Chicago is also making strides in the world of media, telecommunications, life sciences, and energy technology.

Sweet Home Chicago

So maybe you don’t have to move to Silicon Valley to succeed in tech after all? This midwestern city has budding opportunities with a much lower cost of living. (The deep-dish pizza is pretty good too.)
